Colorful monumental Kunuku house with a beautiful iguana in the garden.
This is the image of Curacao when you drive into the mundi, they are former slave houses, much to see at the plantations in the countryside. The walls are angled inwards and the kitchen is outside. the houses are made of clay and wickerwork of branches and the roofs of straw and reed. Later they replaced this with stone and roof tiles, they now have a veranda and the kitchen is now also inside.
