2017Happy strange birds for the Childrens museum of Curacao, It's nice to be who you are. Being Unique is always nice. For the children's museum in Curacao I chose to make a sculpture of strange birds, everyone can be different, being unique is okay! I made these three birds from polyester and polystyrene foam and then I painted them in tropical colors, now they hang in the tree and swing in the wind.

2013Strange birds are everywhere, this one for example at the pool in the cozy Pietermaai district in Curacao. The birds are made from recycled material, his feet are old headlights from a car and his neck has been a plastic champagne glass etc etc. I packed the materials with glass fibers and polyester that's how my birds are created. In this way, waste becomes art and sculptures for outside in the garden.
