Annabay Curacao, Handelskade, driftwood signs and the famous pontoonbridge.
The Emmabrug and Julianabrug connect Punda and Otrobanda {Willemstad} in Curacao. In this painting I have captured the Annabaai as the central point. This bay can fill history books. There was always a lot of trade on the Handelskade, hence the name. The colored buildings were then warehouses, now they are cozy restaurants and nice shops. Characteristic is that you will come across nice signage from the washed up driftwood signs all over the island. You can easily find the woods on the well-known woods bay, for more info send me an email and I'll show you the way. They are often sold as souvenirs and it is really something tropical and the nice thing is they are all different in shape.
